Here is whats going on:

blog.php is gone: WP-United will no longer need it, making installation for new users much simpler.

The way WordPress is called has changed: it will now be compatible with nearly all plugins, without needing most plugin fixes.

The installation process is in the process of being changed. The Wizard / Setup Page is being moved from phpBB to WordPress, and will be much easier to use. Below is a sneak preview. Highlights include an interactive filelist for setting paths, tabbed/sliding menus, much more clarity in options, and (hopefully) no more “Step 5? blues.

Personally I’m very thrilled about this new update! In fact I recomned anyone looking for a wordpress forum for their users to check out:

As a blogger, I was told numerous times that Digg.com was a very great way to get massive traffic and that having some of my posts on Digg frontpage will get me an authority. For two years, I tried as hard as I can to get on Digg frontpage by placing a digg button on my blog, asking people to digg my stories, etc.
But despite having my blog posts on Digg frontpage a few times, it didn’t brought anything valuable to my blog. Why? This is what I’m going to explain in this article.

What a surprise??? Not really… My first opinion on the product was a little biased.. I thought it would have been another stupid game like dance dance revolution, which really has no dance background to it… But from watching youtube videos I have been converted and will probably pick a copy up for my self even! Why?… Because the game actually does make you dance… from watching the youtube videos I’m sure it could even help someone learn dance moves like the ones seen on Napoleon Dynamite. According to comScore, RIM’s market share dropped a percentage point in the fourth quarter of 2009 from the third quarter, and Apple’s rose 1.2%. PCWorld’s Tony Bradley calculated that, given the same rate of rise and decline, Apple could surpass RIMM’s market share by February 2012. And buoyed by the success of the Motorola (MOT) Droid, Android showed the biggest gains — rising 2.7% to 5.2%.

I know I know… all I did was post a link to another blog that shows how to do this… But there are some things I needed to add (from my understanding):

• Some plugins may conflict with li.bypostauthor

• using a different/custom callback function (with: wp_list_comments) will require you to code li.bypostauthor in the new function yourself. (again, a plugin might be doing something to your callback function… So keep an eye on that)
• Old themes wont support it.

otherwise, if your theme is up to date everything should go smooth by just adding:

li.bypostauthor { css comes in here }

to your style sheet as the previous link said to do
